PLANKTON IN ECUADOR

#travelshorts

The tide is at its lowest. We find all kinds of aquatic treasures…wrecks of a previous life, scales of an unknown creature, carapaces, seashells and fossils.

Only the moon is lighting our steps. Far away on the beach, the fire is burning and people are dancing.

I let my body sink into the wet sand, and discover a path of glimmers at my feet.

Plankton. Tiny wonders of nature that melt the shore and the black water into a stellar sky.
