I BOUGHT A VAN
AUGUST 2022 #travelYes. Still don’t believe I did it. Took a loan, made a budget, learned how to drive a manual car (still learning, it’s been terrifying). Sent hundreds of messages to vendors accross Europe, almost bought the wrong van, met with mechanics, absorbed a bunch of technical knowledge, found the perfect one.
It’s cherry red, smells like a wooden chalet in the Alps, makes lots of noise, has a crazy good sound system, and it’s my favourite thing in the world.
It’s the place where I’ve had the best of many things. Best crêpes, sleep, after-surf shower, sunrise, coffee, beer, etc.
Life’s just better with a van.
